Project–Based Consultant

Design Research

After the Design Thinking Eye-Opening session, Artipania was called back to Sansiri to design and facilitate the implementation of Design Thinking Methodology throughout the processes of obtaining and analyzing user insights, ideation and conceptualization of new product development. Artipania performed a design research, conducted field studies and insight interviews, recruited target users and designed relevant co-design tools in preparation for the project. Then designed a special session for Sansiri teams and partners to co-create a new product from the insights we discovered using

Design Thinking and Visual Facilitation tools. Upon the project completion, we had a positive feedback from Sansiri Marketing Department, particularly on the aspects of extracting users’ insights from raw data, which enable our client to validate their idea effectively to meet the needs of their target groups.

Design Learning Experiences

When KBTG planned to organize “Bankathon”, a 4-day hackathon internal event for employees at all levels, Artipania designed and led Design Thinking and Empathetic Design sessions complementing the program. Upon launching the event, Artipania conducted a training session with KBTG employees grooming them to become a Design Thinking Facilitator to help facilitate hundreds of participants. Artipania also co-designed the training process with KBTG and KMUTT to smoothly integrate Design Thinking methodology throughout the whole event.

Startup Thailand and Innovation-Driven Entrepreneurship (IDE) Center (IDE: DesignThinking Bootcamp)

Design Learning Experiences

Designed and Led Visual Thinking for Design Thinking session and co-facilitated a 3.5-Day Design Thinking Train-the-Trainer Boot Camp for 80 professors from universities all over Thailand with China Bridge as the Lead Facilitator and hosted by Startup Thailand (National Startup Commitee), in conjunction with the IDE Center.

Design Learning Experiences

Designed and led a 2-day Design Thinking Eye-Opening Workshop for Sansiri Marketing team and Product Development team. The learning experience was designed and customized to meet the needs and vision of the company.

10 Commemoration Hospitals: BE4H

Visual Facilitation

Captured and Visualized the data harvested in the 2-year project of BE4H: Built Environment For Health Research Unit with 10 Commemoration Hospitals throughout Thailand to designed new healthcare facilities based on the particular needs of each hospital’s stakeholders; patients, doctors, nurse, family.

Artipania used Visual Facilitation tools and techniques to capture the content and feedback of the teams and to translate insights into graphics, which would later be displayed at the exhibition on August 2018 at BACC. The activities were supported and funded by the Thai Health Promotion Organization.

Design Learning Experiences

Designed learning experience for a first-of-its-kind E-learning platform for Non-Communicable Diseases in topics: Diabetes, Kidney, and Heart disease. Artipania’s needfinding method gather insights from patients and users that shaped the content and interaction for this platform and visualized into storyboard. This work is a collaborative project with the client’s partner and the subject matter experts. The platform “NCDs School” is launched in 2019 and supported by Thai Health Organization.

Design Learning Experiences

Integrating Design Thinking (DT) with evidence-based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) results in an innovative procedure for tackling real life problems in an all-encompassing and comprehensive way. Design Thinking with evidence-based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (DCBT) translates evidence-based practice to the daily life of youths with high risk of substance abuse, and has been developed as a targeted prevention program to provide systematic problem-solving mindset, toolset, skillset to educators. It has been implemented by 80 educators from 10 schools in Thailand. The first phase of DCBT work is published at the 23rd World Congress of the International Association for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Allied Professions at Praha, Czech Republic in August 2018. The DCBT Project is then developed into a DCBT Lab, co-founded by Artipania Director and Dr.Sirirat Ularntinon.

Design and conducted a Design Thinking Workshop for digital consultants to aid Thai SMEs undergoing digital transformation as part of DEPA’ s goal to promote the transformation of businesses into the digital culture in collaboration with King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT).

CBT Alliance of Thailand

Graphic Recording

Conducted a Graphic Recording Service for the CBT Thailand Conference in 2017 and 2018 in order to increase the engagement of the participants, particularly on the specific therapeutic subjects such as Suicide Prevention, Safety Planning, Trauma-Focused Therapy, and Creative Cognitive Behavior Therapy for Children and Adolescents.

Kidteracy

Design Learning Experiences

Collaborating with experts and staffs working with Children and artists, ATPN designed and launched Kidteracy, a families and kids friendly media based-on research works focusing on topics such as Emotional Literacy, Social Skills, and other 21st century learning skills.

IDE: MIT Enterprise Forum/GSVC 2018, 2019

The MIT Enterprise Forum is a global entrepreneurial launch competition run by MIT Technology Review, MIT’s media company and the longest-running technology magazine in the world. GSVC is the oldest and largest competition of its kind, to promote profitable entrepreneurial start-up companies which also provide measurable social or environmental impact launched by the Haas School of Business of the University of California at Berkeley, USA.

ATPN acted as a mentor for entrepreneurial teams competing at the IDE 2018 event by providing constructive feedback and pushing teams to act on their ideas, exploring and digging deeper into people’s underlying needs. ATPN Director was also a judge at the Semi-Final Round for the GSVC Southeast Asia 2019.

Designed a workshop integrating Design Thinking with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (DCBT) using Visual Thinking/Visual Facilitation tools for Co-Design and Co-Creation to establish an understanding on the needs of children and teenagers with Type-1 Diabetes to develop new solutions and health care procedures for diabetic patients.
